WHAT HAPPENED?
During Brazil's clash with Paraguay, Cunha appeared set to give the Selecao the lead just after the half-hour mark when he was found unmarked at the back post by Gabriel Martinelli, with the goal at his mercy. The new Manchester United star, signed for £62.5 million ($85m), attempted a diving header, but could only send the ball back across the six-yard box, leaving fans stunned.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Cunha later assisted Vinicius Junior's winner, and per Statman Dave, he created the most chances of any player on the pitch. While he should have added a goal to his statistical profile, he can be proud of his night's work.
