Chelsea have agreed a deal with Villarreal to sign goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, who will compete for the No.1 spot at Stamford Bridge.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Per Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have agreed to pay €24.5m (£20m) for the Danish goalkeeper and have already agreed personal terms with the player. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City were also linked with a move for the custodian, however, it's the Blues who have won the race and are set to land the 22-year-old.

Jorgensen graduated from Villarreal's youth academy and spent just one season as the team's first-choice goalkeeper, helping them to an eighth-place finish in La Liga in 2023-24. Last month, he had even signed a new contract with the club that runs until 2029, however, he is now on his way to Stamford Bridge.
